Since September 2013 I am a PhD candidate at the Artificial Intelligence group, UPF university, under the supervision of Doctor Hector Geffner. I am currently working on issues related to the complexity / expressivity trade-off in automated planning formalisms, and in particular on the computational advantages offered by more expressive language such as Functional STRIPS, as well as by the integration of the heuristic planning paradigm with other AI paradigms such as Constraint Programming.
I am also interested on multi-agent planning and the possible ways in which it interfaces with game-theoretical models.
My past research interests have also spanned different areas such as distributed information retrieval, algorithmic game theory or the design and implementation of efficient metaheuristics for intractable problems.
